The goal behind the Winchester
Inn Heritage House was to return the original feel to the house
while creating an interior space appropriate to its new use.
In the 1950’s the house lost it’s 3rd story and
was turned into a boarding house. When acquired by the current
owners in the 1994 the interior was not in the best condition.
All trim detail was salvaged, reused and matched, the interior
was completely rebuilt and a third story similar to the historic
records on hand was built. The finished building includes a
meeting room and library as well as seven guest rooms each
with a private bath.
